Yes. Many students start with a group course and move to private lessons (or the reverse) as their goals or schedule change.

Let your tutor know in advance where possible. Catch-up notes or a short recap can usually be arranged so you don't fall behind.

Yes — book one private lesson first. If you choose not to continue, you only pay for that single session, with no binding commitment.
